ISAAC DENTON ART

I am a mixed media, graphite and watercolor artist from a small town (Roan Mountain) in East Tennessee. I work primarily with the figure, focusing on portraiture. Watercolors and graphite are my primary medium, but will supplement with gouache, colored pencils, or ink. My major at ETSU (East Tennessee State University) was Illustration, but I have moved into the realm of fine art painting. After college I joined the United States Air Force as a SERE (Survival Evasion Resistance and Escape) Specialist. I recently retired from the military after 21 years of service. I have 2 wild boys in my house and a spectacular wife, Shawna. That being said, it is necessary to maximize my time between my family and artwork. I currently live in Southaven Mississippi and spend most of my evenings working on commissioned or personal art pieces. We donate a great deal of art and 10% of print sales, to various charity and nonprofit foundations to include: Musicares, U.S. Warriors Outdoors and the Jason “Rowdy” Cope Memorial Foundation.
